| Founded in 1986, the library of GIT is equipped with two stock rooms, five reading rooms and one electronic reading room. There are three departments including the library office, the comprehensive business office and technology& information department. The purchasing, the cataloguing and the circulation of books in the library are all managed by the computer system. The library features a rich collection of books on tourism in addition to other volumes on humanities, social sciences and management sciences. The tourism literature variety and quantity are among the best of the tourism institutions of higher learning in China. All the resources in the library demonstrate the special characteristics offered by Guilin Institute of Tourism. | |
